A Fond Rembrance from the Soul Train Scrapbook

One of the most unjustly neglected acts to pass through the Motown stable in the 1970's was the Sisters Love, a powerhouse female quartet led by Vermettya Royster, an alumnae of Ray Charles' backup group the Raettes and the Clara Ward Singers. This track, "(I Could Never Make) A Better Man Than You)," is perhaps the most definitive example of their music, and it's a damned shame that Motown does not have this track available for download at iTunes...or anywhere else, for that matter.

You don't believe me? Watch this clip, and judge for yourself...That is, until YouTube takes it down once Don Cornelius Productions asserts its copyright control.
