Nothing insults your intelligence and sensibilities more than some moralizing right-wing preacher abusing the Bible to put someone else down and making themselves out as being morally superior to everyone else. Leave it to someone more astute to puncture these overblown hot-air balloons and hear the hiss coming from its source:
Doesn't James Dobson (not to mention Jerry Falwell and company) act and sound like a stock character straight out of Restoration comedy? Sometimes, it's hard to tell if he's the witwood or if he's the buffoon.
Some absurdities never seem to end.
