Conservatives have a thing for blasting bloggers, In defending Sen. John McCain during this past presidental election, Joe Scarborough mocked us as "just sitting there, eating Cheetos in (our) underwear," while Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) complained that we added "vituperation toxicity" to the political debate.
But just recently, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow showed a clip of Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) complaining about being criticized by "some blogger" sitting "in their parents' basement." Maddow -- who later said she saw herself as "a blogger on TV" -- did the show in her pajamas to show her solidarity with bloggers. Watch it:
Arianna Huffington, an Cambridge-educated debator with a M.A. in Economics, sitting in her parents' basement at her computer desk with a bowl of Cheerios, wearing nothing her scanties from Victoria's Secret, contributing to the blogsphere's 'vituperation toxicity'?
Give me a break!
